Exam Dates

On behalf of the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA), the Northern Territory Architects Board conducts Architectural Practice Examinations (APE) each year in Darwin and Alice Springs. Exams are currently held on the first Tuesday in April and the last Tuesday in August. Applications close on the dates listed below:

Application Requirements

Exam information, guides, log books and resources are available from the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA) web site. Research of this site is recommended prior to submitting an application and should be checked for any updates on log book and application requirements.

To register for an exam, you will need to provide the following:

** NOTE: Electronic log books have been available since 1 January 2009 on the AACA website at nil cost.
